Matt Dodson is a Client Advisor and Business Development Officer in our Shreveport office. With over 22 years of banking and investment experience, he joins the company from Raymond James & Associates, where he was a financial advisor, providing investment recommendations and portfolio reviews.
In his new role, Dodson will report directly to Louisiana Market President Gary Moore. He will focus on new client outreach initiatives and strengthening existing customer relationships.
Dodson, a University of Louisiana Monroe graduate, brings significant expertise to his new position. He holds current Series 7 and Series 66 designations from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) designation.
Matt and his wife, January, have been married for 23 years, and they are proud parents to two children, Riley and Ryder. Matt is dedicated to serving his community and is currently a board member of Caddo-Shreveport Crime Stoppers. He finds joy in volunteering with The HUB Ministry in Shreveport and participates in the Tim Tebow Foundation’s annual Night to Shine event. Matt is a deacon and active member of Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, LA. In his free time, he loves nothing more than spending quality time with his family, tending to his garden, and crafting beautiful woodworking projects.
