Blake Butler

Mineral Manager

Blake joined Argent Financial Group’s Mineral Management division in 2023 as a Mineral Manager in our Ft. Worth location. Butler will focus on mineral wealth, contract negotiation, oil and gas accounting and asset evaluation.

Butler brings over 11 years of experience to the Argent team. Most recently, Butler served as a petroleum landman for Twin Creek Resources, LLC. In this role, he researched property and mineral owners for oil and gas producers, prepared research reports and communicated with clients on project needs.

Butler graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications. He lives in Dallas with his wife, Maggie, and daughter, Margot. He enjoys riding his bike around White Rock Lake, trying to break 80 on the golf course, playing music and finding the best tacos anywhere he goes.
